Depending on the hardness of your water, we suggest descaling your espresso machine 1-2 times per year. It is important that you only use a commercially available liquid decalcifying solution (e.g. Durgol). Please do not use vinegar or powder.
For very hard water, we suggest using a table water filter. This removes the carbonate hardness (lime) and therefore the espresso can develop its full flavour.
